A grisly road accident in Kisii has claimed the lives of 8 people and injured a dozen others.
The accident occurred at 8 pm yesterday along Kisii-Kilgoris Road and it involved a canter, a saloon car and a Noah.
It has been confirmed majority of the people who perished were students of a popular university in Nairobi.
The students had hired two cars to ferry them to a club in Kisii to have fun. The drivers of the cars were unable to control their vehicles due to overspeeding, resulting to the tragic accident.
Survivors were rushed to Ogembo Hospital and Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital.
