Breaking News from Kakamega indicates that ODM secretary General Ababu Namwamba has resigned from the position.
Namwamba officially announced at Masinde Muliro University in Kakamega that he has officially quit the party .He added that he will tender his resignation next week and deliver it personally to Orange House.
During the announcement, several other Luhya leaders who hold positions at the grass root level quit the party for Ababu’s yet to be announced party.
Also expected to tender his resignation next week is Party Deputy Chair Paul Otuoma, who has been raising his concerns over the mistreatment of Luhya community in ODM.
Namwamba, who swore by the name of Raila in 2008, has officially broken ranks with his mentor to join Jubilee Party and become the Luhya Kingpin.
