Former Orange Democratic Movement Secretary General Ababu Namwamba is full of regrets after leaving ODM unceremoniously.
Sources close to the Budalangi Member of Parliament say Ababu expected to pull out of the party with several MPS and other party members, but he was surprised to see only two MPs pulling out with him.
Before quitting ODM, the MP thought he had a following after some Jubilee legislatures psyched him. He went ahead and felt sweet, moved out and put walls.
One week after leaving ODM, the dust has settled, Namwamba does not command respect he used to draw, even friends have left him, Jubilee is not anywhere near him to comfort the MP. He is now a disappointed man.
Namwamba now wants to apologize to Raila to allow him take his SG position, but sources within Orange House say the doors are closed and the party is only waiting for resignation letter from Namwamba before they replace him.
A source close to Raila says the CORD leader has settled on Junet Mohammed as the next ODM Secretary General.
