Africans can now move from one country to the other without restrictions, thanks to the new African passport that was unveiled this week at Kigali, Rwanda
The Pan African e Passport was commissioned on Sunday afternoon at the launch of the 27th African Union Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.
The first two passports were issued to the African Union Chairman and President of Chad Idriss Deby as well as the summit host president Paul Kagame.
According to the leaders, the passport will be issued to heads of states as well as ministers before common citizens get hold of it.They will then use it to travel wherever they want within the African States.
The passports will particularly help journalists and business persons who would want to travel to other countries minus a VISA.
