President Uhuru Kenyatta has broken the hearts of opposition and their supporters by claiming his coalition, Jubilee will rule until 2032.
Uhuru was speaking during the launching of Jubilee Party, a vehicle he intends to use to defend his seat.
“Our party will rule until 2022, even beyond. Those who have intentions of becoming president should either join us or watch us rule until 2032”, said the president.
The president also assured Ruto of his support in 2022, adding that those who are waiting for the two to go separate ways are wasting their time.
But their choice of venue, state House, has generated heat from Kenyans. According to social media users, it’s wrong for the president to conduct party functions in State House when the party has its offices.
The president, as usual, will hear none.
