A huge python was killed at Museveni’s compound in Kisozi, Gomba District just hours before he celebrated his 72nd birthday.
The python was about to attack Museveni’s cows when the police shot it thrice, sending it to hell.
The huge reptile, which weighed about 80 kilograms and 20 feet in length, was still kept in one of the policemen’s shelter in the President’s farm.
Museveni, who looked shocked beyond words, never uttered a word when asked to comment, but he shook his head more than 100 times as he looked to the sky to thank God.
The 72-years-old gets most of his income from farming-he has over 2,000 cattle in his farm.
