William Ruto’s fierce critic, Isaack Ruto escaped death by a whisker when a chopper he had hired to Nairobi made emergency landing at the Southern Bypass, Nairobi on Sunday evening.
The chopper’s pilot was unable to proceed with the journey after realizing the weather was not good for landing at Wilson Airport. He was prompted to make emergency landing to save Rutto’s life.
The Bomet Governor was escorted to his home in Langata.
Just to recap on what had happened before. Former agriculture minister Kipkalia Kones and Assistant Minister of Home Affairs Lorna Laboso perished in a plane crash on 10 June 2008.Also, former Security Minister George Saitoti died at Ngong in 2012 through plane crash.
