Angry crowd almost beat Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko in Ukambani during the burial of Wavinya Ndeti’s husband.
Sonko was given a chance to speak his broken English when he declared himself acting president and started abusing the Akamba community. His loose tongue almost cost him after the crowd descended on him.
Police officers who had accompanied CORD leaders pleaded with the crowd to forgive the flambouyant Senator, who was extremely embarrassed of his actions.
Sonko was forced to swear not to repeat the same mistake.
