One student has been killed in Maseno University while others have been injured following a confrontation between students and locals.
The student was reportedly stubbed to death by one of the locals after an argument. The incident prompted students to retaliate, killing the culprit on the spot.
Up to now, the situation is worse as both sides engage each other in running battles. Sources at the university say the most affected side is Mabungo, which is close to the University’s administration office.
