There was drama in Homabay yesterday after two ODM leader exchanged heavy blows infront of Raila Odinga.
Homa Bay Town MP Opondo Kaluma and Mr Washington Ogaga were the centre of attraction as they practiced what they normally watch during wrestling contest. The two leaders could not hold their anger, they engaged each other in a fight that lasted almost twenty minutes. People in attendance cheered as each of the two threw kicks and heavy blows. The match ended prematurely when Raila intervened.
It all started when supporters of area governor Cyprian Awiti and Kasipul-Kabondo MP Oyugi Magwanga started arguing about who would beat who in the forthcoming elections. Shouting rented the air.Eventually, leaders themselves took it from themselves and ended up squaring out before embarrassed crowd.
Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma and Dr Hezron Mac Obewa took to their heels when they realized the situation was getting out of hand. Even Parliament siren Gladys Wanga could not be able to contain the situation.
The arrival of CORD leader, Raila Odinga and his ally Hassan Joho saved the situation. Moments later, sanity was restored and supporters took their cool.
