As the Doctors’ strike continues, we wish to reveal the salaries of doctors in private hospitals in relation to what doctors in public hospitals earn. It has emerged that doctors in public hospitals are paid much better than their counterparts in private hospitals.
The latest figures revealed by Dennis Itumbi, an Interns at a public hospital earns a basic salary of Ksh 196,981-Ksh 208, 238, which is not the case for interns at private hospitals who earn small stipend.
