Raila’s daughter, Rosemary Odinga, fainted on Monday this week at Aga Khan Hospital before the doctors at the prestigious hospital recommended her transfer to South Africa for specialized treatment.
Sources close to Odinga’s family say that Rosemary’s brain tumour surgery was not conducted, she was instead given pain killers and allowed to fly to South Africa where medical precision is guaranteed. As she was waiting for the day she would fly,the worst happened-she fainted. She was scheduled to travel Today but her travel dates were backdated by a day.
Yesterday evening, the sickly Rosemary was accompanied to South Africa by neurosurgeon Oluoch Olunya and Amref flying doctors and family members, excluding Raila who was in Meru for election campaigns.She will be in South Africa for at least 8 days.
