It is now official, Nivea for Men, Luron for Men and Arimis, cosmetics made for men have been invaded by women. Companies are now complaining that male cosmetics and body lotion fly off the shelves like nobody’s business and to make it worse, the buyers are women.
The most surprising thing is that women have gone ahead to buy Arimas Jelly which is meant for cows. This Jelly, women confess, make the skin smooth and has a cool smell. The also claim that it removes irritating pimples from their skin. You would be surprised that in Nairobi, where cows are almost nonexistence, is where Arimas is bought most.Initially,the products were not available in Chemists but nowadays they have been made available.
Coming to body lotions, women claim that Luron for Men, Vaseline for Men and Nivea for men smell good, cooler than women body lotion. They have therefore been addicted to using these lotions, leaving their traditional lotions like Lady Gay, Limara, Nice & Lovely,Dark & Lovely and Vaseline.
Manufacturing companies are now in dilemma, they are in the process of removing the specification which distinguish the lotions between men and women.This,they say, will ensure women lotion is purchased as projected.
