Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is in a plane heading Nigeria. The presidential candidate will be in Nigeria for 5 days.
A statement from Dennis Onyango states:
“Opposition leader Rt. Hon Raila Odinga has left the country this morning for Nigeria.
Mr. Odinga will be in Nigeria for three days during which he will attend the grand opening of the first presidential library in Africa, the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
The ceremony will take place tomorrow, Saturday, March 4, 2017. Mr. Odinga will return to Nairobi at the beginning of the week”.
Currently his daughter,Rosemary Odinga,is in South Africa for brain tumour treatment.The second born was flown this week after doctors at Aga Khan hospital recommended her transfer.
Raila’s visit to Nigeria is interpreted in many ways; political enemies believe the opposition leader is in Nigeria for spiritual. They say he has gone to see his usual witchdoctor. But his friend say he is there following invitation from Olusegun Obasanjo
In 2013, month before elections, Raila visited Nigeria-he was there with his son, Fidel Odinga.During his stay at the West African country, he disappeared for one day to attend to important matters, only to appear one day later with his son Fidel.
It is 4 months to election and Raila is again in Nigeria, do you believe he is indeed there for the opening of a library?!!!!
