The Jubilee administration has blamed Joho for planning to throw bees at Uhuru Kenyatta in Tononoka and Mtongwe.
Several people were arrested in Mombasa yesterday near Tonon0ka ground while advancing towards the field. The men were carrying a swarm of bees ready to throw at a crowd in Tononoka.Sources say the culprits had been sent by Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho to disrupt the successful rally by throwing the live bees at the mammoth crowd.
The men are currently held at a Mombasa police station for questioning.
Sources also add that another group of men were arrested today carrying bees.They were headed Mtongwe to accomplish their mission, which aborted after police were alerted.
