Even as the government continue fighting Sultan Joho, it has emerged that Kenyans, regardless of tribe, are supporting the governor.
In a Facebook post, Joho said the government has resorted to use KANU tactics. This is after he was summoned to Mombasa Police station to record a statement:
“Intimidation continues, today at 4:30pm I received a summon from Mr. Pius Macharia to appear at the Regional DCI Headquarters Mombasa and record a statement.
I have informed them in writing that due to confirmed prior commitments I will personally honor the summon on Wednesday the 29th of March at 10.30am. I know I will be vindicated once again and this will never deter me from pursuing the transformation agenda for my people”, he wrote after receiving the letter.
In tears, Kenyans commented on his timeline, and this is what they said:

I hve seen his former classmates and teachers confirming indeed Joho did his secondary education and sat his KCSE exams. His tomentors should look for another fix because it’s them who look stupid.
