Kamba Supremo, Kalonzo Musyoka has finally accepted to be Raila’s Deputy, days after he announced through his right hand man, Francis Nyenze that he would leave NASA if he is not picked the flag bearer.
While speaking at JKL, Kalonzo said he has humbly accepted to deputize Raila again, adding that the watermelon tag should be passed over to another politician.
Kalonzo’s statement ends speculation over his future and marks the beginning of a fierce political battle between NASA and the ruling coalition, Jubilee.
According to sources within NASA,Raila Odinga has already been picked as the coalition’s presidential candidate,Kalonzo Musyoka as the Deputy President and Musalia Mudavadi as the Coalition’s Chief Minister. Moses Wetangula, who is currently the Bungoma Senator will vie for Bumgoma Gubernatorial seat, to unseat Ken Lusaka.
This year’s presidential race will be the toughest in the history of Kenya, the loser and winner will be separated by less than 10,000 votes.
