NASA leaders, Moses Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka and Richard Onyonka lost their smartphones yesterday while escorting Raila to IEBC offices to present his presidential papers.
The three leaders were shocked to realize their smartphones were missing shortly after Raila presenting his papers. Efforts to get their phones back bore no fruits—the phones had already been switched off.
Now the CID had been tasked to search for the lost smartphones, which are easily traceable. The phones’ brands include Samsung and iPhone and retails at Ksh 60,000 and above.
What should be worrying the thieves is that iPhone is one of the few smartphones you cannot change its IMEI number. The CID will use the unique IMEI number to trace the robbers and once caught the worst shall happen. So if you stole the phone, throw it anywhere so someone can pick it.
