Madaraka day celebration in Nyeri turned a Jubilee affair after opposition leader was denied a chance to speak to the people.
Speaker after speaker talked but no one was ready to mention the name Raila.The event, which was supposed to be a National affair turned tribal when some speakers started addressing citizens in Kikuyu (but Kenyans have no problem with that).
Raila, who was relegated to a “Common Mwananchi status”, sat next to Kavuludi, chewing ball gum as he watched Jubilee politicians speak.
The two-hour event ended without any speaker recognizing Raila.After President Kenyatta spoke,Raila was forced to leave the venue as any common Kenyan.
