Manchester United Manger Jose Mourinho’s father is dead.
The manager posted an emotional black and white photo of his father,Alex Mourinho on Instagram and expressed disbelieve in the demise of his father
Jose Manuel Mourinho Felix had a distinguished playing career as a goalkeeper making more than 250 appearances for Belenenses and Vitoria Setubal as well as one cap for Portugal.
And Belenenses also paid tribute to their former player, writing: “Belenenses presents all the solidarity and offers heartfelt condolences to the families of Felix Mourinho, father of coach Jose Mourinho.”
Mourinho senior battled ill health since the turn of this year, with Jose flying back to Portugal last season to see him.
Several people have sent condolences to the Manager for losing a loved one.
“RIP to your father, May God be with you and your family Jose. We love you. Once a blue always a blue,” a fan said.
Another posted: “Stay strong boss, we love you.”
Another added: “Sincere condolences. thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. love you boss.”
