Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wa becomes the first MP to be elected to parliament after IEBC revealed there is no name to oppose him.

IEBC has gazette Inchungwa’s name yesterday July 4, 2017 after no Kenyan was committed to challenge him in the August poll-this implies that the politician is MP elect.

Kimani served as vice chair of the Public Investments Committee (PIC) in Parliament. He was among the most brilliant legislatures in parliaments. The incoming MP is also ranked among the best debaters.

The 40-year-old studied at Strathmore’s school of Accounting and graduated from the University of Nairobi with an Honours degree in Economics.
