Purpose of award
The purpose of the Victoria Bachelor of Health Inaugural Scholarship (“the Scholarship”) is to launch the Bachelor of Health programme within the new Faculty of Health and invite students to participate in this unique Pan-University offering.
Scholarships for study in 2018 will be awarded competitively on the basis of academic merit and other criteria. These scholarships will be awarded at a value of up to $5,000 with a minimum scholarship of $1,000.
Selection criteria
Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents of at least two years’ standing.

* Scholarships for study in 2018 will be awarded competitively on the basis of academic merit and other criteria.
* These scholarships will be awarded at a value of up to $5,000 with a minimum scholarship of $1,000 and may be credited to tuition fees or Victoria Halls of Residence costs.
* The Scholarship may be held in conjunction with other awards, however, recipients who are offered the Victoria Bachelor of Health Scholarship and a Victoria Excellence or Victoria Achiever Scholarship or any other fees scholarship may have their offers adjusted by the selection panel.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application after 20 October.
