Thousands of NASA supporters have started boarding buses from Nairobi, Nakuru and other major towns to their villages.
Nyamira Express, Easy Coach Guardian Angel and many other buses going to Western Kenya have been fully booked.As of today morning, thousands of people were in various bus stations scrambling for few spaces available.
More shocking is that majority of the people are travelling to Kisii, Kisumu and Western Kenya and are believed to be supporters of Raila.
One of the travellers was overheard saying after being asked whe he is going home yet he is a voter in Nairobi:
“Mimi sitaki kupatwa na shida,wacha nichukue watoto yangu nyumbani”.
Fare prices to Kisii have doubled to between Ksh 1,200 to Ksh2,000 while those travelling to Kisumu are forced to part with upwards of Ksh 2,000.The sad reality is that Western Kenya buses have attracted the highest number of travellers.
