Raila has been requested by his close friends and family members to concede defeat.
Yesterday night a meeting was held in Raila’s house where the former Prime Minister was told that proceeding to Supreme Court will bring more embarrassment. His elder brother Oburu Odinga, children and any relative alive told him not to take any step since they are aware the system doesn’t favour him.
Raila was initially reluctant but he told them after mediation,” let me think about it”. Today morning he might come with a surprise.
What we know so far, Raila has no any other option, he cannot call for mass actions, he can’t win in the Supreme Court, he can’t be the president. What is remaining is for him to accept defeat and retire gracefully from politics.
We are also informed IEBC will today announce Uhuru the winner, ending a two day debate over who won the presidential election in Kenya.
