Former IEBC Chair Isaac Hassan’s forced exit from the commission prompted him to say something about Raila that “he will still lose in 2017 by even a bigger margin”.
Speaking while demanding his exit package, Hassan said Raila is a loser who never accepts defeat. He noted: “those who are known to lose will lose even without us as commissioners”.
Raila was humiliated by President Kenyatta with a margin of over 1.3 million votes. He is expected to retire from politics and hand over the mantle to Kalonzo or William Ruto.
