Moses Wetngula’s bodyguard has been sacked.
Simon Lonyai was fired today for trying to enter the Supreme Court while armed.This happened yesterday when a video emerged showing the bodyguard trying to force his way into the Supreme Court without the consent of the officers manning the gate.He was stopped, disarmed and arrested.
Today, the police officer received a letter indicating he has been sacked.
It is their responsibility of the officer to not only protect the leaders but tell them when what they are doing is unlawful and contravenes the constitution. Simon was told to surrender his uniform, police number and anything he owns that belongs to the police. He is now jobless.
