Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar has officially joined Jubilee.
The former human rights activist joined the ruling party citing frustrations from Wiper Democratic Movement.Omar, who until recently was the Secretary General of Wiper Party, has vowed to campaign vigorously for Uhuru Kenyatta. He has indicated that his influence in the Coast will immensely boost Uhuru’s popularity, which would translate to millions of votes.
Omar lost in the just concluded elections to Ali Hassan Joho and he is expected to secure a government appointment once Jubilee takes power. What is surprising is that several political rejects have also joined Jubilee, who include:
Reuben Ndolo
Cyrus Jirongo
Paul Otuoma
Moses Akaranga
Ababu Namwamba
Etc
The leaders are crossing their fingers as presidential campaigns enter homestretch. They are hoping to get a slice of the national cake once Uhuru takes power.
