Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has gone mute and is expected to return home-Jubilee. Sources close to the governor claim that switched camp immediately he secured the gubernatorial seat.
Few days after winning the hotly contested seat, Joho resolved to tone down his rhetorics,leaving Raila to fight alone. You can bear me witness that since he was elected, he has become scarce.
In the NASA coalition, Joho has been replaced by the embattled Embakasi East MP Babu Owino .This was after it emerged Joho was associating with Mary Wamboi, one of the senior members of Jubilee.Joho has now been relegated to ‘division two’ in the NASA coalition.
Today,as NASA were struggling to replace IEBC,Joho was busy meeting investors outside the country.In one of his Facebook posts,the governor says:
“This morning I led the Mombasa delegation in a productive meeting with the delegation from Estonia led by Honorary Counsel H.E Khadri Humal.
We discussed key areas of mutual cooperation in the transformation of Mombasa into a Smart City by utilizing digital tools in crucial sectors including traffic management, smart street lighting and further automation of business processes”.
We are informed there is a rift between Coast politicians and NASA top leadership after Raila Odinga refused to elevate Joho or Kingi to the position of principal.The two leaders decided to mind their own business.
