A helicopter has crashed in Lake Nakuru shortly after it took off from a hotel in Nakuru.
The helicopter was believed to be carrying a Jubilee leader alongside other politicians. Sources say it was carrying five occupants.
Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika confirms some of the occupants were members of her communication team. Also present was a politician.
onfirming the incident, Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha said moments ago:
A chopper reg no 5Y NMJ crashed into lake nakuru this morn with five occupants. Rescue operations being organised…
Among those feared to be in the crash is one Sam Gitau who this morning posted in Facebook about their chopper taking off for Narok.
