In Kenya, the media has always portrayed the police as the most inhuman creatures ever lived on earth even when they are undergoing through the most difficult moments to save the lives of the common citizen. Yesterday we saw how a police officer was overwhelmed by emotions to the point of weeping uncontrollable, demonstrating that they are human too.
During the recent demonstration we saw the side of demonstrators, who were engaging the men in uniform. Several pictures emerged on social media showing a brutal force, that care little about the lives of other human beings, but what we didn’t see is what goes on behind the scenes.
