There was an unnatural event at KCB Thika Branch when unknown thieves dug a hole, accessed the strong room and disappeared with Ksh50 million.
The thieves, who are still at large were so daring that they dug a whole which is more than 5 feet. The whole enabled them access the cash vaults where Ksh50 million was stored.
While confirming the incident, the Branch Manager said the thieves managed to escape through the underground tunnel they dug and until now the company has not established the identity of the robbers
