National Resistance Movement leader Raila Odinga may be sworn in Kisumu.
The former Prime Minister’s swearing in ceremony looks imminent after he indicated today that he MUST be sworn in.But what surprised Kenyans is the fact that he addressed the media from Kisumu, which gives an indication that he will stay at the lakeside city until and after he is sworn in.
The reason Raila has decided it’s Kisumu is because he understands that more than 99 % of his supporters are based in those areas. He is therefore assured of protection from the locals.
If it happens that he is sworn in on December 12, 2017,he would hav committed treason, which attracts death sentence.
