Zari Hassan is not in peace this morning after thieves broke into her former husband’s compound, dug the grave and took away with millions of dollars and the golden coffin he was buried with.
The robbers broke into the compound in the wee hours of the night, threw meat to dogs and started digging the grave. It took them almost two hours to reach where Ivan Ssemwanga’s coffin was lying. After hours of sweating, they managed to carry home what is believed to be a fortune.
By the time they were escaping with the money, watchmen were asleep.
