Ruguru MCA Peter Weru is dead.
Mr Weru collapsed while addressing a Jamhuri Day gathering at Nduduini Primary School in Mathira Constituency.
He was rushed to Jamii Hospital and later transferred to Outspan Hospital in Nyeri town after his condition worsened.He died while receiving treatment.
A report from Outspan Hospital indicates that the MCA died of heart attack.
