If you are travelling from to Nakuru,Kisii,Kisumu,Kakamega and Mombasa,you have to part with at least Ksh 1,000.
From Nairobi to Nakuru,all matatu SACCOs have increased the fare prices from Ksh300 to Ksh 1,000.Even so,there is a huge scramble for few available matatus.
Those travelling to Kisii,I don’t think it will be easy for you to get a vehicle today.Few hours ago we were at Afya Centre where Transline Classic stage is located, the lines we witnessed shocked us.We confirmed that the company is charging Ksh2,000 per head.We also toured Railways where Guardian Angel and Easy Coach stages are located, the situation is the same.They are both charging Ksh2,000.
If you are travelling to Mombasa, you will also part with at least Ksh2, 000,but good news is that there is no scarcity of vehicles in that route.
From Nairobi to Kisumu,I doubt if you will travel today…anyway go to town ans book any vehicle,you might be lucky to travel on Monday.
