The National Transport and Safety Authority has suspended the license for Marimba SACCO following their involvement in the death of Joseph Kiarie, former Maseno student
A statement by NTSA reads in parts:
Following the murder of Mr.Joseph Kiarie on 24th December,2017 by the crew of the motor vehicle registration number KCF 793Z,the authority notifies the public that the operation’s license of MARIMBA INVESTMENT has been suspended with immediate effect”
NTSA has requested the SACCO to present the touts who killed Mr Kiarie.The SACCO should also present Certificate of Good Conduct for all their crew etc.
Earlier,the SACCO management had indicated that they could not trace the crew but after public outcry NTSA promised to take action.
