Many people, especially women, are struggling to shed some fat belly but are using the wrong approach. Stop wasting your energy doing endless sit ups and starving yourself to death. Some are even draining their pockets buying expensive for nothing supplements and worse; opting for surgery.
Here are tips on how to lose belly fat naturally and within a very short time;
- Stop Doing Crunches. Stop wasting your time and effort doing 200 daily crunches. Crunches will not only strengthen your stomach muscles but also cause you lower back pains, slouching shoulders and forward head posture. No, you don’t want to look worse than the way you are!
- Get Stronger.by this I don’t mean heavy weight lifting. At least do something that makes you breath hard but not gasp for air; jog, brisk walk or do house chores if you are at home.
- Eat Healthy. I know we are not perfect but try eating a balanced diet. Avoid processed foods and stick to eating whole a meal that has little carbs, protein, veggies, and lots of fruits. Don’t totally avoid junk food because they do help in fat loss by keeping hormones sharp and active. Overdoing it of course is disastrous.
- Limit Alcohol Consumption. You have heard that you are what you eat so is what you drink. If you are a fan of beer and sweet alcohols then you can forget about fat belly! Beer increases belly fat, enlarges boobs and gets you pear shape as you grow older. Once in a while alcohol is good but overdoing it has worse effects on your health. Dedicate at most 2 days in a week to alcohol say Friday and Saturday nights, the rest of the days drink green tea, water, water and more water with squeezed lemon.
- Eat Less Carbs. Carbohydrates help you with energy. Ask yourself, how much energy do I need to do a task? If you are seated 8.00a.m-5.00 pm in an office doing reports and responding to mails, do you really need that mountain of ugali?
- Stay Motivated. Self-esteem is very important on how you look. Cheer up and love yourself, buy fitting clothes that bring out your best, take photos every week and post in Facebook, Instagram, etc and you will be amazed on how people admire the shape that is stressing you!
