For the first time in Centuries there is electricity blackout in almost the entire republic of Kenya. Kenyans are up in arms against KPLC, who are tasked with supplying electricity in the country. The company is yet to explain why the situation has occurred.
The blackout started 6pm and has since persisted .Kisumu,Mombasa,Nairobi,Eldoret,Nakuru and other major towns, there is total darkness.
It can be remembered that KPLC had planned to burden Kenyans with backdated power bills, but the commons rose against the unwelcome act of the monopoly institution.
