Why William Ruto Will Never Be The President of Kenya

Deputy President William Ruto may be a step away from the presidency but he may not occupy State House. There are countless points to support our argument.

We all know that in 2000 former President Daniel Moi overlooked Saitoti, Kalonzo,Mudavadi and a host of top politicians to select the current President Uhuru Kenyatta as his successor. In that same year,Saitoti was seen as the front runner, having been loyal to the Moi for more than a decade. The reason Uhuru became the most favourite before Moi’s eyes was the fact that Jomo Kenyatta made him (Moi)what he was—he was lifted from the position of a teacher to being the Vice President.

Since Uhuru has a debt to pay, he can’t overlook the fact that Moi alirudisha mkono. To do justice,Uhuru will blesse Gideon Moi and he will do it by selecting him as his successor.I know this looks like a dream but that’s how things will unfold.

In politics,a day is enough to change things.Right now,you may see Ruto as the only person fit to succeed Uhuru. But having witnessed what happened to Raila in 2013,I am confident tides will change-Ruto will cry in broad daylight.

There is also a theory that is seconded by  political analysts.Look at the following list, imagine no one among these people became president!

1.KALONZO musyoka was vice president but never became president.

2.Mody Awori was Vice president but never became president.

3.Josphat Karanja was Vice President but never became president.

4.Musalia Mudavadi had been a VP but Never became president.

5.Joseph Murumbi had been VP but Never became president.

6.George Saitot had been VP but Never became president.

7.Kijana Wamalwa had been VP but never became president.

8.Jaramogi Oginga Odinga had been VP but never became The president

Already, you have seen what’s happening in the political arena. The royal families don’t want the son of a peasant to ascend to power-they are regrouping. In about two years, they will declare a stand.
