Thousands of drunkards have demonstrated in Kiambu.
The never sober population took to the streets to protest against failure by the County Government to pay them to be sober. The governor initiated the program earlier this year so as to reduce the number of alcoholic subjects in the county.

They have now given the county government 48 hours to pay them or they return to changaa dens.
