If you want to know your KPLC Paybill balance, you can use the following procedure:
- Open a new SMS message.
- Type the first part of your account number in the message field. For example, if your account number is 998877-01, just type 998877.
- Send this message to 95551.
- In a few seconds you will receive an automatic reply with your account balance details. This service works for Kenyan networks. It is charged at Kshs. 5/- above the normal SMS rates.
If you want to add tockens,here is the procedure to follow:
- Go to MPESA
- Select Lipan a MPESA
- Go to Paybill
- Enter KPLC Paybill number(888880)
- Enter your Meter Number()
- Eenter Amount
- Enter your MPESA password
- Send
You’ll receive SMS confirmation from KPLC and the number of tokens received.You’ll then feed the serial number sent into the meter.
