Catch a repeat of the 2019 Emaar NYE show
If you didn’t manage to head to Dubai during the festive season and decide to attend the ongoing Dubai Shopping Festival, then be sure to head to Dubai downtown and catch a repeat of the Emaar New Years Eve show.
The Emaar NYE 2019 was one of the world’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebrations. The illumination of the façade of Burj Khalifa earned it two additional Guinness World Records – for the ‘Largest LED-illuminated façade’ and the ‘Tallest LED-illuminated façade’.
Themed ‘time and progression’, the show was accomplished using advanced software and pyrotechnics that were put together by a team of over 40 professionals and over 250 experts. 9,400 fireworks were used during the New Years Eve show and had an active an were fired from 2,017 positions spelling out ‘Happy New Year’ in English, Arabic and Chinese.
This unique display will now be enjoyed by residents and visitors in Dubai until March 31. Complemented by performances of The Dubai Fountain, the shorter version of the NYE show will be displayed once from Tuesday to Saturday. There will also be two separate laser and light shows from the extensive LED display library of Burj Khalifa. The shows on Tuesday and Wednesday will be at 7.15pm, 8pm and 9.15pm, and from Thursday to Saturday at 6.45pm, 8pm and 9.45pm.
