Tanzania Environment Minister Demands Ransom Before Releasing Rain to Kenya

The Minister of Environment in Tanzania has demanded ransom before releasing rain to Kenya. Speaking to the press, the Minister said he is the one holding Kenyan rain and before he releases it, he must be rewarded handsomely. His demands are that the Kenyan government gives him Tsh 10 billion plus several herds of cattle.

“I am the one holding tight the Kenyan rain and if you think I am easy, continue waiting. I will only release the rain when the Kenyan government pays me Tsh 10 billion”, said the Minister.

Kenya has been waiting for the rain since November 2018 and as a norm it should have started raining the start of April but it seems the grip with which Tanzania is holding it is tight.
