Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso is dead
Laboso,who has been suffering from cancer, died shortly after 1 pm.The governor was initially admitted at a UK hospital before being transferred to India where he was told to go home and rest as he waits for his final day.
Two weeks ago,Dr Laboso appeared in public for the first time where she was prayed for,but shortly afterwards she was rushed to Nairobi Hospital where she has been admitted in ICU.Today morning,family members were called to gather for bad news,that’s when they were informed of her death.
Laboso won the Bomet Gubernatorial race after beating Isaac Ruto in a hotly contested battle. Before then she was the Deputy Parliament speaker.
