Breaking News from IEBC indicates that Mariga has been cleared by the body to contest for Kibra parliamentary seat.
IEBC arrived at the decision after going through the details submitted to them by the footballer. Earlier, the electoral body had invalidated his candidature but it seems someone intervened. Today morning, it was announced that Mariga is duly registered and that he will contest on November 2.
Even as he is cleared, sources on the ground intimate that he will finish third,behind ODM’s Imra and ANC candidate.
