Arsenal Manager Unai Emery has been sacked after a series of poor performance. The decision was reached by Arsenal board following 2-1 defeat by Frankfurt.
In a statement posted on Arsenal Website,the board said they have dismissed the Manager with immediate effect after he failed to meet the club’s expectations.

The management explained that the decision to sack the manager was arrived after Unai failed to meet the required expectations.
“We have asked Freddie Ljungberg to take responsibility for the first team as interim head coach. We have full confidence in Freddie to take us forward”
Unai joined Arsenal last season from PSG after the resignation of former Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger.Before Joining PSG he was the manager for Sevilla where he won EUROPA back to back.
Unai’s problems started after falling out with Mesut Ozil,one of the best Arsenal stars. There has been a lot of disquiet in the club which cascaded down to the performance.
