Safaricom has reviewed MPESA charges for the year 2021.The giant telecom company sliced the MPESA charges by half in a bid to woo more clients into using their services. Sending Ksh 0 to Ksh100 will be free effective 1st January 2021.To withdraw Ksh 100 from an agent, you’ll be charged Ksh 10 only. If you wish to withdraw Ksh150,000, you’ll be charged Ksh300.

The good news is that the maximum amount a phone can hold has been increased to Ksh300,000 per day. In addition, one can withdraw up to Ksh300,000 per day.
