RAILA is a descendant of Ramogi Ajwang, a Luo Chieftain and very powerful witch doctor who lived at Ramogi Hill in Yimbo, Siaya County, 500 years ago. All generations of Ramogi Ajwang traditionally known as Ker, have followed the witchcraft practices of the famous medicine man and warrior, and conduct occultism in line with their calling.
A Ker cannot belong to any other religion as his position is already a traditional spiritual leader of his people, and is usually revered and worshipped. A Ker posseses occultic powers from Ramogi Hill shrine, which is meant to assist him govern his subjects.
Thus, Raila being a Ker cannot believe in any other God, other than the god of Ramogi Ajwang. His recent visits in churches are just meant for the camera, and the coming election. It is therefore not surprising that the Odingas hate Christianity. Initially, Raila’s wife Ida called for tighter regulation of Churches and closure of those that are small. Now Raila, without any iota of shame, plans to end Christianity in Kenya and make the country a pure secular state.
