A photo taken on Thika Super Highway today shows police have barricaded the road.The situation is calm but there are no vehicles passing there, only the huge police vehicles parked at the road.
Thika Highway is one of the busiest highways in Kenya, by now vehicles could be in thousands on the road but it seems Kenyans feared the demonstrations.
Raila is yet to start the demonstrations but clearly,people aren’t reporting to work in Nairobi for fear of being caught in the confrontation between Raila’s supporters and police.
Even on Mombasa Road there is no the usual traffic jam,only a few vehicles are passing.
