Willis Raburu joins TV47, see the salary he is going to earn

Former Citizen TV News Anchor Willis Raburu has joined TV 47.He is scheduled to start working for the station from September 2023.Willis joins the station months after quitting Citizen TV where he was hosting morning and late night shows—he was among the best employees of the Royal Media Services.

Willis Raburu signed a contract last week. In the contract, his gross salary is Ksh 850, 000, which is Ksh 300,000 more than the money he was earning at Citizen TV.

Willis will be hosting two shows, one equivalent to the 10/10 show and another one for Sports alongside Fred Arocho and other journalists.

The late night show will be featuring the high flying MC Gogo who has also been recruited by TV47.

TV47 is owned by Prof Simon Gicharu who is also the founder and Chairman of Mount Kenya University. He wants to emulate Citizen TV and create a team that will propel TV 47 to international levels.
